• Unavailability of land
  Not all things were created equal; the same goes for land.   Delay in projects is a major pain point for home buyers and developers alike. At times, the developers are dependent on their investors to ensure the timely delivery of the project. Also, the amount of people interested in buying a property in the project is a key factor. Reverse migration of construction workers due to the pandemic had added to the delay in many projects.
  All the factors combined take a heavy toll on the development of a project and the delay is a matter of great inconvenience for home buyers as most people; if not all; put in all their savings to make this big purchase.

  We've already shed some light on how the population density of India is a concern as the availability of land is sparse. But again, we are not going to stop buying houses, are we?
  Cities have been growing horizontally for the longest time, acquiring more and more land. There is a definite need for proper planning to utilize the space better to accommodate the vast population.
  
  
• Outdated construction techniques
  With green living on the rise, outdated building and construction techniques are a hindrance in the process of moving towards sustainability. The use of sub-par material for construction affects the integrity of the structure and thus, leads to early wear and tear. Inefficient design metrics fail to optimize the living space, and a protruding column here and there adds to the injury.
  All in all, designing a well-crafted structure and further building it is a skill that very few people possess. And, the industry needs more professionals like these to build better homes for us to live in.
